From 2005-2020, Power of the Purse was Girls Inc. PNW’s biggest event of the year, packed with a POP-up shop, live auction, dinner, girl empowerment and more. Over the years, more than 200 of Portland’s most notable leaders, artists, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists worked with local purse designers to create one-of-a-kind handbags to raise money for Girls Inc. PNW. Each piece was a unique work of art that was auctioned off during a live fashion show featuring our Girls Inc. PNW youth! We are extremely grateful for everyone who played a role in the long-standing success of our annual gala.
